About us
John McDougle
Hartmoore Investment is led by John McDougle who has been involved in business and investment for too many decades to mention. He has had two paths to his career:
First, from farming through the buying and selling of land in Houston, Texas to property investing and property development in the north and south east of the UK.
Second, studying interior design, which led to a business importing and reselling furniture and lighting and another for equestrian products, followed, after exiting, by working in marketing as a consultant.
John’s goal now is to build a stellar group of businesses in the interiors industry – refurbishment and fit out, furniture and fittings, interior design, etc.
When not working, John has enjoyed various adventure sports from sailing to mountaineering and a love of large dogs and horses in rural East Sussex. Now based in the countryside north of Bristol, he confines himself to calisthenics at the gym.
